For the Love of Trees -Part 1

I have a passion for trees and when I came across a stunning photo of Eucalyptus trees in the snow on the Instagram feed of the Melbourne Arboretum, I knew it would make an amazing painting. The trees have stunning bark with so much texture and colour!

I approached the Arboretum to see if I could create a painting for them after reading about their vision.. They managed to contact the photographer who very kindly gave permission for me to use the photo, and so the painting journey begins.
